Sandra Potter is the founder of Frontier Travel – a specialist travel agency, focusing on North America and covering holidays to the USA and Canada.
Over her five-decade career in travel, Sandra has witnessed the industry and holiday experience transform, and has continually developed her fascination for the USA and Canada.
Sandra launched Frontier Ski in 1991, beginning with Canadian ski holidays. Her connection with the country goes back further: she moved to Canada in 1972 and spent two years living and working in Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver. Frontier Travel now specialises in tailor-made holidays to Canada and the USA.
In episode 29 of the Destination Unlocked podcast, Sandra joins Daniel to mark the 250th anniversary of American Independence, with anecdotes from trips across the great nation. The episode was released on the Fourth of July 2026.
