5 Best Travel YouTube Channels 2026

Rate this post

Travel vlogs have been at the heart of YouTube since the get-go. The very first video ever uploaded to the platform (on April 23, 2005) was a 19-second video of a trip to San Diego Zoo in California.

The videos have got a bit longer since then (although you could argue that YouTube Shorts is taking us back to the 19-second glory days) and the range of content on the platform has exponentially multiplied.

Every minute, creators upload a combined 500 hours of new content. Can you believe that? Every 60 seconds, 1,800,000 seconds of new video is uploaded to YouTube!

Here are our top travel channels that you must check out in 2026!

Destination Unlocked in your Inbox

Best for TV-style Travel Guides: Sophie Nadeau

Sophie Nadeau’s channel is really professional. Enjoy exquisitely produced travelogues, with great visuals interspersed with really smooth piece-to-camera shots from Sophie.

Her videos are relaxing to watch and cover the key highlights with plenty of useful information.

This is the sort of channel that you can watch on your smart TV. It feels more like a produced show than a casual vlog.

Her website is Solo Sophie, but from the quality of these videos we have a hunch she might not be travelling solo so much these days!

Best for Adventure Vlogs: Jammy Gits

The Jammy Gits (Martha and Mitchell) are on a four-year world tour in their 2005 Land Rover Defender 110. This year they’re in Africa, before they ship the Defender over to South America for the second leg of the journey.

Mitchell edits weekly videos detailing their experiences (all of it – it’s a very honest channel), while Martha keeps everyone up to date with daily reels on Instagram.

Their videos have had over 8.8 million views!

Best for Cruise Vlogs: Emma Cruises

Emma loves cruising more than anyone I know! She started cruising as a child and has since sailed with almost every line, creating detailed and honest videos about the experience.

She also raises a lot of money for charity by selling toys of her mascots Captain Hudson and First Mate Rolo. She’s raised over £100,000 for Mercy Ships!

In addition to vlogs, enjoy Emma’s weekly live streams on Fridays.

With just shy of 1000 videos, and 120 million views, this is definitely one for cruisers to subscribe to!

Best for Europe Vlogs: Matt Whiting’s Europe

Matt tours Europe, bringing in-depth vlogs from around the continent. So far he’s visited 42 different countries and has a cool google map of his travels linking to the relevant videos (he inspired us to make one too).

He’s been making travel videos since 2013 and covers interesting facts and helpful pointers that you can replicate if you’re visiting too.

With over 350 videos, Matt’s got enough to keep you entertained for about 120 hours.
